I made a promo card to mail out of this Keith Forsey portrait. I sent it out to record labels, publicists & magazines. I still wanted to shoot fashion, but I loved music almost as much as I loved photography. I only heard back from one creative director at a magazine. That was Gary Koepke at Musician Magazine. He hired me to shoot Joe Zawinul from the jazz group Weather Report. This was big time for me cuz I knew him and his music. Spending a day at his home taking photos was awesome!
